- Handle them carefully and remove them over a towel or cloth in case they slip
- Brush and rinse every day to remove stains and food particles
- Use gentle soap or denture cleaners and avoid regular toothpaste or other abrasive material
- Keep dentures moist in cool or cold water when not in use
Are my Dentures permanent? Or will they need to be replaced?
Once you start with dentures then you will likely need them for the rest of your life. Because of the excessive amount of use they undergo, and potential changes in the underlying bone tissue, dentures may need to be replaced every five to ten years.
